Managed entirely by Firebase Authentication. Supported sign-in methods are email/password and Google Sign-In. We do not store passwords directly.

For tier-based rate limiting, we store your current credit balance and usage history. This data is used only to manage your subscription and is never sold or shared.
AI resume tailoring Gemini API
When you tap Generate or Tailor, your career context (experience, skills) and the job description you provide are sent to Google's Gemini API over HTTPS.
This is the only time your data is transmitted to a third party for processing. We do not retain prompts or context data on third-party servers after the API call completes. Google's own data handling is governed by the Google Gemini API Terms of Service.
PDF rendering PDF Engine
Resumes are rendered to PDF by a remote Playwright microservice operated by Empyreal Works. The generated HTML is sent to this service over HTTPS for conversion. No content is stored by the PDF engine beyond the duration of a single request.
Everything else
Your data is used solely to provide the Resumate service — personalising resumes, syncing portfolios across devices, and enforcing tier limits. We do not use your data to train AI models, display ads, or share with any third party for marketing purposes.

No analytics platforms, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting tools, or other third-party tracking services are used.
No security measure is perfect. We encourage you to use a strong sign-in method and to delete sensitive data you no longer need.
Resumate is intended for job seekers and professionals. It is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us at hello@empyrealworks.com and we will delete the account promptly.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and publish the revised version at the same URL. Continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
